You need to properly prepare the beans:

If you buy dried beans, it is important to cook properly. Since beans contain natural toxins () so-called lectin, which can cause abdominal pain and vomiting. However, it is easy to destroy the poison, if you properly prepare the beans.

Follow these three steps to destroy the toxins:

1. Soak beans for at least 12 hours
2. Drain and rinse beans and cover let in fresh water
3. Boil vigorously for at least 10 minutes

Then you must cook the beans for about 45 to 60 minutes to stretch.

If you buy canned beans that have already gone through this process so that you can use immediately.

Since a clay pot slowly over low heat and dry beans generally take a long time to cook, it would be too long in a clay pot.

To use the beans in a crock pot, you should soak the beans and boil them first and is followed by a probable or two days before, then used in any recipe for crock pot that calls for canned beans.

You may add a little spice like.

I soaked overnight and then, and cook the beans separately.

I made soup with black beans, dried beans in the pan for a few weeks, which are smaller than beans. I just soaked overnight and cooked in the crock pot on low all day, it would be perfect. Well, then the consistency of canned beans were the best, and again the kitchen all night. 24 hours later I had a big crock pot of beans ... something for the good time, they want to cook in advance possible!

I would say that although the beans freeze very well (better bean skin thinner) than flour. You can cook a large group of beans are low in salt water, and freeze for many of Chile in the winter!
